PTLLS Train the Trainer is now called the TQUK Level 3 Award in Education and Training (RQF)

PTLLS or Preparing to teach in the life long learning sector is no longer available and has been replaced with the Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET). We offer this new qualification as an online course or as an intensive classroom course.

Previously it was possible to do either PTLLS Level 3 or PTLLS Level 4, the new qualification the AET or Award in Education and Training is only available at Level 3 but is a 12 credit qualification whereas the standard PTLLS Level 3 or Level 4 were only 6 credits.

The Award in Education and Training is designed to teach you how to teach it goes with any subject, for example if you have qualifications and or expertise and experience in any subject that you want to deliver to adults, you will need the Award in Education and Training.

Classroom Course

If you have four days to spare our intensive classroom course is extremely popular, delegates are supplied with a workbook and the Passing Assessments for the Award in Education and Training text book, written by Ann Gravells who is one of the leading authors for educational training.

There is homework allocated each day which is completed during the evenings of the course, our tutor covers the topics during the day and the learning outcomes are met by discussion, lectures and group exercises, groups are kept to 12 delegates to make sure that everyone receives the guidance and attention they need.

Gain the Award in Education and Training Online

If you have committments and cannot take four days out to gain the new award we also offer an online option, a series of video lectures, lessons, templates and guides are provided for you through our Moodle Based learning environment. You are set up on the system and have up to six months to complete your assignments. When all of your assignments have been completed, you comes to us for one day to deliver your micro teach or if you prefer you can submit video evidence.
